Their very first product here at the Bedrock Tree Farm was fir needle sea salt scrub. Angie, being married to Tom, a lobsterman, was always on a quest for a product that would rid his and her hands of the bait and lobster cooking smell. Nothing truly worked. While in a restaurant in the south there was a bowl of scrub that said it was an old fisherman's recipe for getting the stink off your hands. Angie combined a few ideas and came up with her own formula using fir needles and sea salt and Wha..la...it works on any odor. Also, discovered that it removes the sap from your fingers after clipping needles for hours.

Then Tom said he would like to bathe in the fir needles....Angie started making soaps with Tom's clippings and hasn't used anything else since. If you haven't bathed with the aroma of a Christmas tree, you haven't lived.

Well, why stop at candles,sea salt scrubs, and soaps....SHAMPOO was next.Tom wanted to have an all encompassing experience with the organic,earthy, innate nature of a tree all over his body. With no interfering smells. There used to be people called "tree-huggers". Now people are bathing in and breathing the natural scent of a tree of nature that most of us love and can't get enough of.
